2010 RANKING TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS

2010 MONTHLY RANKING TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS
PARTICIPANTS
Players must have license from the RFEG or Federación Canaria de Golf.
METHOD OF GAME
18 holes, STABLEFORD or MEDAL PLAY.
COMPETITION CONDITIONS
Schedules: Tee offs will be either simultaneously or by intervals. To be announced in each competition.
Tee Offs: Each competition the Tee Offs will be made following ranking Classification.
Pace of Play: We ask players to maintain a good pace of play.
Tees offs: Gentleman - Whites.
Ladies – Blues.
Rules: The tournaments will be played in accordance to the rules of golf, the local RFEG and what the club determines depending on the circumstances.
Inscriptions: To be announced before each competition. Usually in competitions with meals Visitors pay €48/ €30 Members. Competitions without meals Visitors pay €30 / €15 Members.
- Entries to be made directly in the clubhouse, or by phone, fax or e-mail. Deadline 24 hours before the tournament
Buggy: Visitors €25 / €12 Members. Trolley is included.
CATEGORIES
One category
In case of having two or more players with the same score, the winner will be the one with the lower handicap.
In case the players have the same handicap, the 9, 6, 3 holes rule will determine the winner.
SCORE SYSTEM
Points for tournaments:
In the STABLEFORD mode – the system will grant the same points the player scores on the tournament; 36 points STABLEFORD equals to 36 points on the ranking.
In the MEDAL PLAY mode – the system will grant 36 points for net par.
Examples; +10 net=26 points, - 2 net=38 points to the ranking.
From the seven tournaments, the best five rounds will count.
Puntables rounds:
In case of cancellation of any competition, the committee will decide a new date for it.
If it is not possible for any circumstance, the committee can assign any other tournament as "valid for the ranking” that takes place at the club.
In case that any player takes part in five or less tournaments, all rounds will count.
Ranking:
The ranking will be established after every competition.

26/6/2010. 2ª Prueba – MEDAL PLAY
24/7/2010. 3ª Prueba – STABLEFORD
21/8/2010. 4ª Prueba – MEDAL PLAY
04/9/2010. 5ª Prueba – STABLEFORD
18/9/2010. 6ª Prueba – MEDAL PLAY
2/10/2010. 7ª Prueba – RANKING CLOSING – Valid for the Ranking. STABLFD
Prizes:
§ Winner: Trophy+Polo+1 YEAR FREE SUBSCRIPTION.
§ Second: Trophy + 6 MONTHS FREE SUBSCRIPTION.
§ Third: Trophy + 3 MONTHS FREE SUBSCRIPTION
§ Fourth: 2 MONTHS FREE SUBSCRIPTION
§ Fifth: 1 MONTH FREE SUBSCRIPTION
§ Sixth: 1 MONTH FREE SUBSCRIPTION
§ Seventh: 1 MONTH FREE SUBSCRIPTION
§ Eighth: 1 MONTH FREE SUBSCRIPTION
Subscriptions are personal and not transferable - If the winner of any subscription has already paid the club, the annual subscription will be increased in the number of months of the prize. In case of non-subscribers, the subscription will be activated the day after the RANKING CLOSING.
Committee of competition:
The Competition Committee will make decisions on any problems that may arise.
The rules to apply to the tournaments are the local rules at the moment of the tournament.
IN CASE OF A DISPUTE, THE COMMITTEE'S DECISION WILL BE DEFINITIVE.
